Being an older figure in the coven, Aasir is one of the more free-spirited members. He voices opinions within Coven matters but knows near-perfectly where the boundaries lie for when he should speak. He is presumably the perfect balance of compliance to the order of things while being lucrative enough to enjoy his own life outside Coven affairs.

Aasir is a novelist that lives on the outskirts of London. He writes under alternating pen names and has been successful for many years. He has a way of ensuring his books bring income without gaining him too much notoriety.

Aasir is the mentor of Dominic when it came time to learn vampire ways, including restraint, tracking, and mannerisms. Being Aasir's disciple, it took a considerably longer time for Dominic's training than it had the two siblings prior. On the same token, Dominic was granted a bit more freedom in his time spent with Aasir. There was less hostility than what might have come from another mentor.

Dominic being allowed to move over-continent was a test by the coven that puts a significant amount of weight on Aasir's shoulders. At times when Dominic felt his breaking point in the city, Aasir was the figure responsible for aiding him in making it happen. Aasir is the reason that Dom had leaned toward music and sound to ground himself in such a populated area.

He was a traveler at his time of death and never got to see his home- so he gave that opportunity to Dominic while around the area. Due to this, Dom knows the fate of his original family and the story of what happened following his disappearance. It's an opportunity few coven members had.
